In matters of faith, God often calls us to take a path of significant resistance. In contrast, the course of least resistance is often the way of the world. It’s often easier to get along with the world. However, our usefulness for God is lost when we don’t take His path. We want to be like those great persons described in the Bible who stayed faithful in the face of often violent adversity.
